Description

If this was the small fragment photographed alongside Gillingham 1 when it was built into the vicarage wall then it seems to have had interlace decoration (Browne 1917, pl. facing 241).

Discussion

The vicarage has now a different use and enquiries failed to locate this piece, but if it were a fragment of Gillingham 1 then the discussion of that monument applies.
