Set of two tower arch capitals. In situ capitals supporting soffit roll of tower arch. Both are volute type with circular 'targets' incised on each volute and cable-moulded astragals. The order supported carries a pronounced chevron moulding. The corresponding bases are both replaced. These capitals are discussed further on p. 70 above.
