Appendix E item (overlap architectural sculpture).

Set of two tower arch capitals. In situ capitals supporting soffit roll of tower arch. Both are volute type with circular 'targets' incised on each volute and cable-moulded astragals. The order supported carries a pronounced chevron moulding. The corresponding bases are both replaced. These capitals are discussed further on p. 70 above.
