A (broad): A broad flat rectangular moulding runs vertically up the stone; at the bottom it appears to stand on two ?legs. Within the border mouldings this central feature is flanked, to the left, by two narrow vertical mouldings and by one such moulding on the right.
B (narrow): Lost
C (broad): Two vertical mouldings form the only decoration.
D (narrow): Though damaged, there are clear traces of knotwork involving a Stafford knot.
Little can be deduced from this badly worn fragment, though the Stafford knot decoration is used on Disley Lyme Hall 1 (Ill. 137).
