Broken into two pieces and stuck together; fragmentary and very worn.
Description

A: A small portion of a roll moulding encloses plain four-strand interlace (strand width 1.3 cm).

C: Trace of groove, possible dowel, 2.5 cm in diameter, and 12 cm long, with rounded end, on the opposite face

Discussion

In style the deeply cut strands are like Glastonbury 6 (Ill. 241), but this is probably a worn remnant of a shaft.
