Found c. 1935 while making the garden of Mrs Heynes' house [The Hole in the Wall, now called The Malt House], which adjoins the church on the west (Newall 1939, 183).

Description

Only one face is visible.

A: One edge moulding, remains of three rows of closed circuit pattern F with irregularly disposed median-incised strands, with a strand width of 15 mm.

Discussion

This piece is almost certainly part of the same cross as Teffont Magna 1a, and is closely similar to Gillingham 1 (Ill. 67).
