Appendix H item (British inscribed stones in Devon and Somerset)

Inscribed stone recorded in the 1830s and lost some years later. The Latin-letter inscription, which seems to have contained an Old English personal name, probably dated from the late Anglo-Saxon period or from after the Norman Conquest (see Ch. VIII, p. 68).
