Description

A long block, well dressed on all faces, the long sides angled slightly towards each other as in a voussoir, with two approximately right-angled cuts on the dressed shorter face (i.e. the exposed face), the ?underside more smoothly dressed for a distance of about 10 cm from this face, the whole probably forming a three-stepped profile. One of the upper edges is dressed to an angle of about 45o, possibly from an earlier use (or possibly re-use) of the stone

Discussion

Probably an almost intact through-stone voussoir for an opening such as a large window or door.
