A (broad): The remains of a wide, apparently flat, moulding survives on the left edge of the stone; to the right of this are two to three strands of flat band interlace but any further carving has been lost in the damage sustained.
D (narrow): Apparently finely dressed over most of the surface but with fragments of mortar adhering
B (narrow) and C (broad): Broken
Although this is a fragmentary and much damaged piece, the remains of the edge moulding on A suggest it may once have been part of a cross-shaft that incorporated well-executed interlace patterning in its decorative repertoire. Too little survives, however, to suggest a date for the production of this monument.
