Description

Part of a recumbent cross-slab with sloping sides and debased foliate decoration, in south transept of parish church. Recorded in the British Museum photographic index of Anglo-Saxon sculpture, but clearly post-Conquest; possibly the stone mentioned in R.C.H.M.(E.) 1970a and dated c. 1300.
