Recorded by Longstaffe in 1846 as having been discovered during grave-digging in the Harker family burial place in the chancel; subsequently in the possession of Mr W. Harker of Theakstone Villa

Description

Only one face illustrated by Longstaffe; other faces not recorded.

A (long) : There were three rows of type 7 tegulae, and below the eaves a horizontal panel of scroll and pellet, the pellets in clusters.

Discussion

A type h hogback, the scroll variety. Its distribution is the widest of the hogback series (p. 23).
